We help in all aspects of graduate school admissions (MD, Law School, MBA, and other graduate programs), including essays, applications, and interview preparation.
One of our specialties at MYS is helping international students in all facets of their application and we have had very successful results with our students from abroad. For many schools, the international admissions rate is less than half that of the overall admissions rate.

For our students currently applying to college we will begin the exciting (yes it can be a lot fun 🙂 journey of the college application process. We will discuss at length the colleges we will apply to, brainstorm potential major options, and come up with a coherent and attainable strategy as you begin your college applications.,

Younger students have a significant advantage in that we can help them discover their interests and academic and extracurricular passions. We assist students to plan their courses, counsel them on which school activities to join, and give them access to varied extracurricular programs and internships outside school. Our goal during this time is to promote, nurture, and invigorate the student's personal and academic development through active advising yet patient listening to the student's needs. We create a tentative test schedule for all standardized tests and place a solid pathway for the students to follow easily. We genuinely believe that with all the proper steps, anything is possible!
Academic and extracurricular interests continued to be developed. We help all our students apply to summer programs or secure a summer internship after their junior year and even earlier if their schedule permits.
In the spring of 11th grade, we will begin college exploration with our students. We introduce schools to our students and together come off a list of initial schools we intend to apply to. We match parents and students with colleges and universities, offering various options using precise data, from low-risk schools to high-risk. This list is often revised and updated throughout the upcoming months with the student's input. We put students in touch with alums of schools and guide special programs colleges have, such as BS/MD and 3+2 programs. We conduct extensive college application tutorials and essay and resume workshops to prepare for the application season.
The bulk of the application material is completed during this time. College lists are finalized. Resumes, personal statements, and all supplemental essays are created, edited, and finalized with thorough detail. Students work diligently under the guidance of their consultant to present their unique stories creatively and compellingly, which allows them to shine.
Students will be able to celebrate their acceptance and hard work. We help students make final decisions regarding the school they will attend and help with any correspondence they might have with schools in making their decision.
Accepted schools include but are not limited to Princeton University, Stanford University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Rice University, University of Pennsylvania, Amherst College, Carnegie Mellon University, Vanderbilt University, University of Michigan, UC Berkley, UCLA, Emory University, New York University, Smith College, Boston University, Northeastern University, College of William and Mary.

Applying to college and graduate school can be incredibly stressful and our mission is to make this process as smooth and painless as possible. In fact, by the end of the application process, you might even look back and see that you found it enjoyable (wishful thinking of course)! MYS prides itself on developing relations with our students that can last a lifetime.
Having attended both Amherst College and Columbia University as an undergraduate, I have a unique perspective in that I can offer guidance to those considering universities as well as liberal arts colleges. I first became involved in the education space as a graduate student at Columbia’s School of International and Political Affairs, where I had the chance to work with disadvantaged youth throughout the world, creating programs giving them greater access to education. I later had the chance to live and work in China, where I was able to work with high school students of all levels in helping them achieve their college dreams in the United States.
I currently work with students from all over the United States and abroad and have helped hundreds of students achieve their college and graduate school dreams. Some of my recent students have gotten into Stanford University, Princeton University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Wharton Business School and Tufts Medical School among others. My biggest strength in this process is my passion for education. I am compassionate and will always put the student’s needs first. I’ve also worked with students of all levels and pride myself in being able to form strong bonds with my students that allow me to get the best out of them and allow them to shine in their applications.
